A delicious high fat low carb dessert option
Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients:
200g dark chocolate (85-90%)
40g butter
3 eggs separated
300ml thickened cream whipped
Method:
Melt chocolate in a double boiler over medium heat
Once chocolate has melted take it off the heat and stir in the butter and egg yolks
In a large bowl use a stick blender to beat the egg whites until soft peaks form
Fold chocolate mixture into egg whites
Fold the whipped cream into the mixture last
Chill for at least 2 hours in the fridge
Take out of fridge about 20 minutes before serving
